This is another lesson plan that makes use of images obtained from www.Amazon.com. The aim is to introduce learners to the S.A.N.E. determiners (some, any, no and every).

I feel that there are at least three situations in which learners should meet and consider these four determiners as a system:
1. It can be helpful to point out that the S.A.N.E. determiners associate with the words thing, one, body, and where.
2. The resulting 16 items (something, anything, nothing, everything, someone, anyone, no one, everyone, somebody, anybody, nobody, everybody, somewhere, anywhere, nowhere, everywhere) are the most common collocates of the word else.
3. Learners’ appreciation of the semantics of the determiners either, neither and both may be strengthened if they are compared with any, no and every.

This lesson plan on pdf format includes three worksheets and a slideshow. The whole file can be downloaded onto a memory stick and transferred onto a classroom computer.
